Default company for migration user
1. Companies be the same across SSA Baan IVc4 and SSA ERP LN 6.1.
2. The tool establishes a link between SSA ERP LN 6.1 and SSA Baan IVc4 through the Conversion (bccnv0201m000) session and, during this process, runs the SSA Baan IVc4 remotely through SSA ERP LN 6.1.

Onpload utility and database
1. Onpload utility performs the actual activity of converting and moving data.
2. The tables in the onpload database contain information that the onpload utility uses.
Formats
: The formats table defines the basic information for a record format
Formatitem
: The Format Item table defines the data file records. Each field of a data file is described by an entry in this table.
Maps
: The maps table defines record-to-table mappings (for loads).
Mapitem
: The mapitem table defines the relationship between the columns of a database table and the record fields of a data file. The table stores pairs of
column /record entries.
Session
: The session table controls the parameters that onpload uses to invoke a load job.
Mapoption
: The mapoption table defines conversion options for the mapping pairs that are defined in the Map Item table
3. The Onpload utility must run on the same computer as the database server that contains the target database.
4. Before you use the Onpload utility, you must take the following steps
a) Create an Onpload database before you start to work with the Conversion tool, if no Onpload database was created already on the database server.
b) Populate the onpload database with the required data. The tool populates the database automatically if you click OK in the Conversion (bccnv0200m000)

BW configuration
Oracle Database
1. Set the command in the BW configuration to run the ORACLE SQL* LOADER.
BshellName: bshell
Command: -set ORACLE_HOME=/ / / /
set ORACLE_SID = (DB instance name on which ERP LN 6.1 runs)
SQL server Database
1. you must change the command in the BW configuration to run the SQL Server loader
Bshell Name:
Command : — -set SQLDIR=<…>.(SQLDIR is the full path where the SQL server is installed.)
BW configuration (Windows requirement)
1. Must set the following environment variables to enable connectivity between the SSA Baan IVc4 environment and the SSA ERP LN 6.1 environment:
B4BW: You must set this variable to the SSA Baan IVc4 BW path installed on the local machine.
B4SHELL: You must set this variable to the SSA Baan IVc4 bshell name (SSA Baan IVc4 installed on the server).
COMMON:
You must set this variable to “<$BSE of target>tmpmigration” if the target Operating System is Windows. All interim files which are created during the migration process are written in this directory.
Example:
-set COMMON=F:ERP_LNtmpmigration
If the BW is installed in the C:Baan4 directory, and the SSA Baan IVc4 bshell name is bshell_env1, you must enter the following command:
-set B4BW=C:Baan4 -set B4SHELL=bshell_env1
2. If dumping and loading are performed simultaneously, these parameters must be set in the SSA ERP LN 6.1 BW configuration window only
OR
if you opt to dump only, you must set these parameters in the SSA Baan IVc4 BW configuration window, as well.
